The making of me 🫶

My dream from the age of nine was to be a child psychologist (specifically child psychotherapist) This later became a dream to be an educational psychologist but moving to London, “temporarily” training as a teacher, working in London schools and then falling pregnant threw a spanner in that plan…

I cry every week at something someone somewhere would find strange. I stopped sharing this side of me somewhere along the way. I love this part of me but also try to protect it online as much as I can now…

Growing up I was embarrassed by my thick eyebrows and unusual middle name, now they’re are some of my favourite parts about me…

We shared our first kiss on the eve of his 16th birthday. Two decades ago!! 😮

I miss this sometimes but wow, what an intense job. PSA to all teachers out there ~ you are just amazing!!

One of the only times I’m not with a camera or phone in my hand is when I’m dancing to music or spending time with my friends. Music is always the answer and I can’t imagine a life without it ✨

Very scatty could even be an understatement

The girls loved trick or treating this year!! Unfortunately Ozzy decided absolutely no costume once we left the house 😜 even my backups were a no-go at that point but that’s okay - she looks like a princess anyway!! Banks didn’t want the night to end “mom, more walk” is all I heard for a while, neither were too bothered by the rain and both girls got their fair share of sweet treats.

Had a blast celebrating with our neighbor friends too!! So many festive snacks/apps/drinks/treats.

Holidays as parents is so much fun. ☺️
