🎥: The Devil's Advocate | (1997) | Supernatural Thriller | Keanu Reeves as Kevin Lomax

This intense monologue comes from The Devil's Advocate, a 1997 supernatural thriller starring Keanu Reeves as Kevin Lomax, an undefeated Florida defense attorney who gets pulled into a high-stakes New York law firm run by the mysterious John Milton, played by Al Pacino. In this scene Lomax is practicing his obsessive need to win, shouting 'I win, I win, I'm a lawyer, that's my job, that's what I do' as his ego and ambition start to consume him.

The film, based on Andrew Neiderman's novel, is one of those movies that's part courtroom drama and part full-blown horror, eventually revealing Pacino's character to be Satan himself manipulating Lomax's pride. It's become a favorite for motivational and 'mindset' edits online precisely because of Reeves' fired-up delivery in this specific scene, even though in the actual story that same winning-at-all-costs mentality is what damns his character.
