forever grateful (no I will never shut up about this)

as some of you already know, I went to see @bruce.kulick this weekend. I could ramble for hours but for now, I’ll try not to get ahead of myself and just list some things here:

1. once I saw his booth - you shoulda seen my face bro, my eyes immediately lit up. I was an absolute nervous wreck (mind you I do theater 24/7, LOL.) Anyway, first of all when I got there - Mr. Bruce is TALL (nothing wrong with that - it was pretty surreal to see him in person (+ his wife, @lisalanekulick :)
2. Fanart is him with his kiss era displayed, including three of his albums (I cannot emphasize enough how much I love his music. .), his bobble head, banana guitar, radioactive patch, & mini Lisa. I sketched it first cause I knew it’d be better to start off there (I had to lock in 100%). The other one is him + Lisa dancing (he actually did ask me if I ever saw their wedding photos - and i actually did use them as a reference along with the characters Persephone and Hades from Hadestown as a reference since ofc that musical played a part in my life. I thought it’d be fun to do a bit of both :-) also I gifted two rubber ducks… yeah I was packed and ready that day haha
3. Ms. Lisa gave me picks + a sticker which I took the time to poke one of them with a hole to make into a necklace - that way I have a piece of it that’s always with me. Thanks, Ms. Lisa!! :D
4. One of the things I rlly wanted to be mindful of was if he was okay with hugs (I asked permission but also because he had surgery few months back. I wouldn’t even be mad if he declined cause last thing I wanted to do was make him uncomfortable) but he accepted it regardless and that he said he was doing okay overall. I wanted to bawl on the spot. it was so kind

10/10 day, I wish I could relive it. Many thanks to my parents too once again for making this happen. I had a great time 💕✨ and thank you so much to Big Lick Comic Con for this incredible opportunity :) 💕💕💕✨✨✨
