SUNY Geneseo Physics and Astronomy

It’s solar eclipse day!! There will be a partial eclipse today visible over the eastern US (and total over the Atlantic Ocean and parts of Spain!). From Geneseo the action will go from about 1:00-2:30pm local time. Maximum eclipse here will happen at 1:44pm with about 8.5% of the Sun’s disk covered by the moon. Break out those eclipse glasses!! @eclipse @sunygeneseo
