I get asked the same question almost every time I tell someone I’m going to Kyrgyzstan:

**“Why Kyrgyzstan?”**

It’s a fair question. And after spending time there, it’s also surprisingly difficult to answer in just a few words.

So instead, I thought I’d show you.

A few reasons I keep going back to Kyrgyzstan.

I’ll be heading back again next July to lead another photography workshop. If any of this makes you understand *why Kyrgyzstan?* a little better, maybe you should come experience it with me.
