why do we spend months , even years, building a social media presence only for it to be taken away from you in a heartbeat?

it takes a whole lot to start a business, then losing it a long side your costumer messages and a community you’ve work so hard to build, is honestly discouraging!

My name is Hellen Owoeye, I’m a Nigeria hair stylist based in China. Z’bah luxe @_zibahluxe.official , @zibahluxe.official_backup is a hair maintenance and styling brand born from my personal and professional journey.

Have been struggling with my edges for a while now (due to years of tension) it all started before I relocated to China, and working in a hair specialist salon here has taught me somethings that change for perspective about edges and hair generally: you know, sometimes products isn’t always the problem, techniques really matters.

The amount of tension we repeated put on our hair and scalp matters. Understanding your hair type, and paying attention to your lifestyle is also very crucial, because the hairstyle we choose, and even the product we use should suite our hair type, texture and hair needs.

That understanding really shaped how I built my first product. Z’bah luxe styling and braiding gel was intentionally formulated to deliver strong holds, and a refined finish while helping to avoid the common concerns like flakes, heavy build up and irritation, I made it into two different textures because I wanted something that suit different styling preference, hair texture and satisfy all hair needs while still respecting the health and integrity of the hair and scalp, I believe premium hair maintenance and styling products should be accessible for everyone, something you can trust and buy without having to break a bank.

So yea, Instagram may have taken down our account several time, but Z’bah luxe is bigger than an instagram account and it’s a dream have carried for years and no matter how many times, I have to start over and over , I will keep building it.
