Bupati Bekasi, dr. #infobekasico
BREAKING: HOLY SMOKES! Democrats now control enough states to potentially abolish the Electoral College through the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact. Republicans did NOT have this on their bingo cards… Under the Constitution, states control how their electoral votes are allocated. Currently, almost every state awards all its votes to the statewide winner. This allows a candidate to win the national popular vote but lose the presidency. Small states like Wyoming have disproportionate influence. Wyoming has 3 electoral votes and 577,000 residents, while California has 54 electoral votes and 39.5 million residents. A Wyoming vote is effectively 3.8 times as valuable. Since 1992, Democrats have won the national popular vote seven out of nine times. Under the National Popular Vote compact, participating states agree to award their electoral votes to the national popular vote winner, regardless of which candidate wins their individual state. The compact takes effect once participating states control at least 270 electoral votes. So far, 18 states plus D.C. have joined, totaling 222. We need just 48 more! Democrats now have an opportunity to make that happen: * Wisconsin: 10 electoral votes. * Pennsylvania: 19 electoral votes. * Michigan: 15 electoral votes. * Nevada: 6 electoral votes. 10 + 19 + 15 + 6 = 50. 222 + 50 = 272. That’s enough to activate the compact! If Democrats also hold their lead in the Arizona Senate, the total could reach 283. Beyond correcting an imbalance that favors Republicans, this would fundamentally change presidential campaigns. Instead of concentrating their attention on a handful of swing states, candidates would have incentives to campaign nationwide. Voters in traditionally safe red and blue states would finally matter just as much. States have until July 20, 2028, to join in time for the next presidential election. We can fix our democracy. The time is now. Please like and share if you support this idea!
We fear we're going to need to see ALL of your Halloween 'fits 👏🏻👏🏻

ATLANTA, WHAT A NIGHT! We had a wonderful performance by The House of Funk marching band. We talked politics and the importance of voting with Senator Raphael Warnock. We shared some laughs and did a draft with Deante Kyle and Big Kat, and even tried to find Rachel an eligible bachelor! From the conversations to the laughs, it was truly a night to remember. Atlanta, thank you for showing up and showing out! We couldn’t have done it without you. Until next time! 🎙️ The full live show episode drops later today! 🗳️ And if you haven’t already, GET OUT AND VOTE! Photos by: @photorushin #higherlearning #higherlearningpodcast
