Ernesto "Che" Guevara was born on June 14, 1928, in Rosario, Argentina.
The Argentine Marxist revolutionary and key figure in the Cuban Revolution is officially recognized as a June 14 baby. However, historical anecdotes suggest his parents may have actually welcomed him a month earlier on May 14, 1928, later falsifying the date on his birth certificate to avoid social scandal surrounding their unmarried status at the time of his conception.
