Here’s a little story about something you probably did this morning without thinking twice.

Back in the early 1900s, sweat was just… sweat. Nobody really worried about it. A small company had a product that kept you dry, but most people simply didn’t see the point.

Then in 1919, an ad agency tried something different. Instead of selling a solution, one copywriter sold a question: what if you smell, and you’re the last one to know? The magazine got angry letters. Some readers even canceled. And sales still went through the roof.

That one idea quietly changed how a whole country thought about their own bodies, and it’s still working today.

Not telling you to throw anything away. Just worth noticing how many of our daily habits started as someone’s sales pitch.

What’s a habit you’ve never questioned? 👀

Go quiet. Watch. Learn. 🐺

Architecture has changed dramatically over the years, with traditional homes featuring intricate stonework, warm colours, decorative details and beautifully landscaped gardens gradually giving way to minimalist designs. Modern homes often favour clean lines, flat surfaces, neutral colours and large windows, creating a completely different atmosphere from the grand, character filled properties of the past.

While contemporary architecture focuses on simplicity and functionality, many believe older designs offered more personality, craftsmanship and timeless beauty. The contrast raises an interesting question about whether architectural progress always means improvement, or whether something special is being lost along the way. Which style would you choose? 🏡🤔

For 22 minutes, a machine in France held onto plasma hotter than the core of the sun 🔥⚛️

Researchers at France’s CEA kept a fusion plasma running for 1,337 seconds inside the WEST tokamak, setting a new record for how long a reactor of its kind has sustained a reaction.

That’s about 25% longer than the previous record, set by China’s EAST reactor just weeks earlier. Throughout the run, the plasma stayed at roughly 50 million degrees Celsius.

Holding plasma steady for longer stretches is one of the biggest hurdles in turning fusion into a real-world energy source, and this run pushes scientists another step closer.
