all of the shoes for this collection were made in very small, family owned factories in tuscany.

it isn’t easy to keep these factories open, given international economic turmoil, and it can be hard to access them, especially as a small, independent brand.

i love working with *all* of our suppliers & factories, but these little ones are really special, and they deserve a little attention, especially now, when their survival is most certainly not guaranteed 💙
