Since I haven't shared an embroidery update in quite a while, heres some little insight in what I've been cooking lately. Since this early summer has been brutal in Germany and I can't exist above 29 degrees, I somehow happened to order 10 metres of linen to sew into summer clothing. And since I'm not the person for keeping things simple I (of course) have to embroider them aswell. Which doesn't speed up the process a bit.

But: We have one summer top and a summer dress finished up, the collar of the latter is what you see in the pictures. There is one more "normal" dress and top to go. The rest of the linen will be sewn into a medieval summer cotte. I happen to have one already but turns out even the lightest wool fabric can't beat 30-40 degrees.

What are your current summer projects? Are you as obsessed with linen as I am?
