I’ve always known I wanted to build something digital that felt like the way my mind works. Something that could help me take what I’m thinking and actually put it into words.

I always give credit to Dr. Katt and Dr. Dennis. They helped me understand that communication is really the sharing of meaning.

That stayed with me.

Before 9INELIVES, I was still trying to understand my own story. I still am, honestly. I’m human. I’m growing. I’m not perfect.

But I do believe we have a responsibility to preserve the people we love. To keep them alive through the stories we tell.

A lot of this comes from my mom. She’s been gone 18 years. Reading her book made me want to sit down and write my own version of my life.

Being vulnerable is hard. People scroll past content all day, but how often do we really stop and care about what somebody has lived through?

That’s what I keep thinking about.

How can these tools help the next generation say more? Not just make viral clips. Not just post content.

Actually express themselves. Tell the truth. Preserve the memories.
