🌊💛 67 Minutes for Mandela.

Our YMCA Cape Town team spent 67 minutes giving back by cleaning Muizenberg Beach in honour of Nelson Mandela Day. Every piece of litter collected is a step towards a cleaner environment and a reminder that each of us has the power to make a difference.

There is something truly hypnotic about jewellery that captures movement. ✨

Jabu Kothari @jabukothari has created a pair of earrings that completely stop you in your tracks. The magic lies in a highly unusual diamond cut, arranged in three cascading rows that feel architectural yet incredibly fluid.

What makes these earrings truly special for me is the kinetic energy. The diamonds seem to literally dance to the light, catching every flicker of illumination and throwing it back with an incredible, sparkling brilliance. It is as if the stones have a life of their own.

Have you ever seen a diamond cut quite like this? Let me know what you think below. 💬✨

We have natural gas right under our feet. Let’s use it! As governor, I’ll open up the Marcellus Shale, get that gas flowing, and cut your utility bills in half. New Yorkers deserve affordable energy, and I’m going to deliver it.

I LOVE YOU ❤️

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CUTIE 🥰🧿

Forgiving and letting go are less about absolving someone of their wrongdoing and more about finding our own peace.

We deserve a chance to live beyond the hurt their actions have caused.

But forgiving doesn’t mean forgetting.

We can remember what happened, set firm boundaries and protect ourselves from repeated harm.

Forgiveness needn’t mean restoring trust or allowing someone back into our lives.

It doesn’t remove accountability either.

We may still need to take action against the wrong that was done, including legal action if necessary.

And yes, some experiences are so traumatic that forgiveness may feel difficult or even impossible. That is okay too.

We don’t need to force ourselves to forgive or feel guilty for not being ready.

We deserve safety, support and peace, wherever we are in our healing 🙏🏻

WHY DO I PHOTOGRAPH ?

I photograph not just to capture moments, preserve memories or collect beautiful frames.
"I photograph to understand the world I inhabit and my relationship with it."

I love to return to familiar places because I believe that observation deepens with time. The simple looking things begin to reveal extraordinary possibilities when we learn to look beyond appearances... Through people, landscapes, birds, monuments, forgotten places and fleeting moments, I try to encounter the deeper connections between humanity, nature, time and me.
So, unknowingly, "I am also documenting my own journey of existence."

I do not always seek to possess a moment through my camera. Sometimes I simply want to witness it, understand it and leave it untouched. For me, photography is not just about making photographs. It is a lifelong process of discovering the world, questioning existence and gradually discovering oneself.
