🛻 💨 The research team is on the way to their next location! Here's a look back at their time in Pozo Hondo.

If you're just tuning into this journey, this team is in its fifth year studying ‘Future Fossils' in the Pilcomayo River system in Paraguay. This is the largest megafan river in the world, and we think it's the kind of environment that many extinct creatures (like dinosaurs) lived and died in!

We think that the ‘future fossils' currently being preserved in the Pilcomayo River system will offer important insights into ancient fossils and will help paleontologists better understand ancient ecosystems and the where, what, and why of fossil preservation.
