When a reporter asked Boston Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla whether he had met the “Royal Family” attending the game, Mazzulla immediately replied:
“Jesus, Mary and Joseph? I’m only familiar with one royal family.”
It was a simple answer, but it revealed exactly where his loyalty lies.
Modern culture constantly encourages people to admire celebrities, politicians and earthly elites as though fame, wealth or inherited titles place someone above everyone else. Mazzulla refused to play along. Without hesitation, he redirected the conversation toward the Holy Family.
Earthly royalty receives honour because of ancestry and status.
Jesus Christ is King by divine right.
Mary is the Mother of the King.
Saint Joseph was entrusted with guarding them both.
In a world where public figures often hide their faith to avoid criticism, Mazzulla openly proclaimed his before the cameras.
He knew exactly which Royal Family mattered most—and he was not afraid to say it. ✝️👑
