Noor Al Dua

A sin is simply anything that makes your heart feel heavy and uneasy, and anything you would feel deeply embarrassed or ashamed of if the people around you found out. You don't always need a complex explanation. Your internal compass the conscience Allah placed inside your soul already knows.

Whether it’s a secret habit on a screen, quiet backbiting, plotting behind someone's back, or telling a lie. When you catch yourself hiding an action, don't just feel shame let that embarrassment push you toward Tawbah.

When a companion came to the Prophet ﷺ asking for a prayer to guard himself against his own worst inclinations, the Prophet ﷺ taught him this complete protection for every human sense and desire.
