American Pavilion-#almaallen is renowned for his biomorphic abstract sculptures. Inspired by the expansive landscapes he uses materials sourced from the Americas.
UK Pavilion - @lubainapics explores themes of belonging, migration and memory - what it means to make a home in a new place with her vivid works.
Finland, Norway, Sweden Pavilion - Klara Kristalova @hundskogen created the most charming folkloric sculpture exploring human’s connectedness with animals and nature.
German Pavilion- @henrikenaumann used found objects in her installation referencing post war East & West Germany - “a past that will not stay past.”
Such an opportunity to immerse myself in the vastly different cultures of each pavilion.
