Courtesy of @arrowvideo the long awaited and overdue 4K transfer of 2004 Wolfgang Petersen’s Troy is finally here and I was so excited to see this in the mail. I have been chomping at the bit for this release. The Blu-ray has definitely held up but I have to say that this iteration has taken the cake. With its @dolby track, HDR enhancements such as; Sunlight reflecting off bronze armor and swords, Fire, torches, and explosions, Blue skies and sunsets, Shadow detail during night battles and interiors. Other key upgrades to this iteration is the overall packaging including its stunning cover artwork, well thought out and put together booklet. The included three discs which consist of: the theatrical cut, director’s cut and an extras disc. I highly recommend that you go and grab this from Arrow Video, @arrowfilmstv or even @orbitdvd. @whamlabhq @wbd @dts With @theodysseymovie in the theaters. Now is as good of a time as any to revisit this classic. Starring: Brad Pitt and Eric Bana while also featuring; Orlando Bloom, Diane Kruger, Peter O’Toole, Brian Cox, Sean Bean, Garrett Hedlund and Brendan Gleeson. #arrowvideo #physicalmedia #review #4k #collector
