A continuation of the Paris series, this time sitting down with Yann to talk through what’s ahead: a major solo presentation at the Deji Art Museum in Nanjing, one of China’s most ambitious private institutions, drawn from the collection of founder Wu Tiejun, an ARTnews Top 200 collector, and a museum that has staged the likes of Refik Anadol and Dior.

Well, it's great that there are art buyers in China. I'm exhibiting in Mount Waverly with 33 quality pieces which is a area with affluent Chinese people and not a single person came and purchased any art. And it's at a bargain at early stage of my career. What's the reason? Is it the economic situation in the last 6 months? It says online that this area is quite a high mortgage stress area. I'm really disappointed nothing has been purchased. My exhibition is running till the 3rd Aug
