There are moments that make you stop and think, wow, I really did that.
Yesterday, I stood on a stage at the Rogerโs Stadium, one of Canadaโs largest stadiums, in front of 2,000 investors speaking about how women are better investors & why they need to start sooner than later.
For so long, wealth, investing, and finance have been spaces where women, especially women of colour, werenโt expected to lead the conversation.
6 years ago, I decided to change that. It hasnโt been easy but I knew there were thousands of women who deserved to see someone who looked like them on those stages. Someone who could prove that our voices, our perspectives, and our expertise belong in every room where wealth is being built.
As a Punjabi woman, I donโt take moments like this for granted.
