Toshi Suzuki is a Japanese artist and chef, a genius who moved to New York from Tokyo and invented Basta Pasta. it was all a reflection of his sensibility as a creative person. A totally unique restaurant for 30 years in New York City. Toshi still has a wonderful tiny Japanese style bar, called Bar B, on 7th Avenue between 15th and 16th St. on the west side. It's marvelous! ๐ฅ no seats, standing up only elbow to elbow, wonderful food and drinks. The ceiling is an art piece that Toshi made by hand using thousands of corks from wine bottles, it's fabulous. Go there SOON if you wish to support Toshi while it's still there โฅ๏ธ๐๐ฅ
