2024 vs 2026

Left side, eating out entirely more than I should’ve been. Consuming a lot more empty calorie sugary drinks, liquor included. Working a high stress work from home job, barely getting any steps, workouts or nutritious meals in throughout the day. Snacking on high calorie low nutrition snacks more throughout the day. Kept more processed foods in my home that were easily grab whenever I wanted.

Right side, weightlifting (3-4 times/week) mixed with sauna sessions, pilates, yoga or whatever other type of physical activity I feel like doing throughout the week & switched to a non work from home job where I take way more steps throughout the day. I’ve shifted my entire mindset about fitness and working out. Making more intentional decisions about food, including the amount I eat and what types of foods I eat, and eating at least 3 meals per day of foods that will keep me FULL. Cooking way more (I haven’t visited a chick fil a in at least 2 years 😭 spicy chicken sandwiches with the waffle fries & Polynesian sauce used to be a weekly staple for me). I don’t even crave fast foods the way I used to. I consume wine/mixed liquor drinks on a way less frequent basis.

Let this be your weekly reminder to SHOW UP for yourself this week. Every day, week or month may not be perfect, but each small step you take for yourself ADDS UP. And will make a difference that you may not immediately see but you’ll feel. Keep going 💪🏾
