POV: Your wilderness rescue team has arrived. I brought 12 pairs of gloves, 8 rolls of tape, and enough gear to handle a small disaster…, anything in your mouth?

Thrilled I chose to continue down this path and pursue my WEMT this summer. The Wyss Wilderness Medicine Campus is an incredible place to learn, surrounded by some truly incredible people. Once again, @nolsedu created a learning experience that was equal parts inspiring and challenging.

So much laughter, so much good food, an epic waterfall slide, gruesome patient scenarios (🤫), and more than a few moments of collectively losing our minds through endless skills sessions and pharmaceutical studies.

I’m excited to see where this training takes me next—whether that’s in the mountains or on the rivers, in urban settings or rural communities. I’m looking forward it all.
