“Obsession” @stoneparis X Sabina Socol 🍀✨ It’s been more than a year since we started designing this fine jewelry collection with @marieponiatowski and her team, and it’s been more than 10 years since their timeless jewelry has been with me for the most important moments of my life. Like their “Romeo & Juliette” sword you’ve probably seen on me as it was my “push present”. This collection embodies perfectly Marie’s sensitive and a little rebellious approach to life, combined with my romantic side. We both love love, and Obsession is a collection to always keep on you to remind you that. To me, choosing the jewelry you wear is an intimate choice, close to the skin and always on you. It’s a glimpse of your personality you convey to the world. I love Obsession and I sincerely hope you love it too ! ✨💋 Find it on stoneparis.com and in my bio 🍀 Photos by @antoinesimon_c HMUA @aurelia.liansberg Art direction @norabordjah

The Journal | GOOD MORNING by Ailana Geven Keller—My morning started—let’s say gleefully. Emily yelled from the living room that she was coming in. || Read this and more on Patreon (link in bio). || “Happy Halloween. Do something cute.” She had my Canon pointed at me. “I was going to put my leggings on first.” She looked around the room. “Are you even my sister? If you say you were going to wear shoes, I’m calling Officer Lopez and asking for help!” Okay… granted… How can you not smile when that kind of joy greets you first thing in the morning? It is Halloween, and the kids are all going to a party at church later. Geoni’s surprise Halloween outfits for Emily and Kel have yet to be unveiled. But before that, Dylan Cruz, the tutor we’re considering, is coming by to meet everyone. The school gave us his name and said he’s great, so we’re optimistic. Jason has gone to Walmart to get some things for dinner tonight. We’ve invited everyone to our condo for a casual paper-plate event. I’ll share more details about our plans for the evening later. It’s going to be a big day. My putzing around the condo and writing will probably be the least interesting part, but I’ll check in later. See you then! ~~ PLEASE HELP THE JOURNAL GROW: If you’d like to help AGI, please leave a comment, save this post, and share it. Your comments not only let me know what you think and give my day a lift, but they also help this post get shown to others who might like it. Be your best you! #aiart #Halloween #Family #Storytelling #Photography
MY EYES FILL WITH SAND - “Kashmir” was written by John Bonham, Jimmy Page, and Robert Plant, originally printed as 9:41 on vinyl though its true length is 8:37. Recorded between 1973–1974 at Headley Grange with additional sessions and mixing at Olympic Sound Studios, London, the track features Robert Plant on vocals, Jimmy Page on electric guitars (six and twelve string), John Paul Jones on bass and Mellotron, John Bonham on drums, and unidentified musicians contributing strings and brass. The song’s genesis traces back to Jimmy Page’s conversation with William S. Burroughs, who encouraged him to explore the connection between rock and Arabic musical structures and even travel to Morocco for firsthand inspiration. Robert Plant later explained that the lyrics originally under the working title “Driving to Kashmir” came from a long, empty Moroccan road between Guelmin and Tan Tan, where he saw nothing for miles except a single camel and traveler, inspiring the imagery of a road stretching endlessly into a dreamlike destination. The lyrics reference distant journeys, an imagined Shangri La, and possibly the time of Rudyard Kipling, or the hippie trails through Kathmandu in the late 60s and early 70s, with critics describing the piece as “won over by the talk and song from tongues of lilting grace… whose sounds caress the ear.” Musically, “Kashmir” blends rock power with Eastern trance aesthetics, becoming a monumental piece in Led Zeppelin’s catalog. Page described how an earlier idea called “Swan Song” evolved into the final track once Bonham’s drum pattern locked in during early Headley Grange rehearsals: “It just seemed to come to life… nothing else sounded like ‘Kashmir.’ It was quite majestic, and it was just cool to be playing it.” Only two songs in Led Zeppelin’s discography are credited solely to Bonham, Page, and Plant: “Out on the Tiles” (Led Zeppelin III) and “Kashmir.” Clip: LIVE at Knebworth (1979)
