Dwyane Wade’s statue has a new face! The Miami Heat revealed the updated statue outside their arena, two years after the original went viral because many said it didn’t look like D Wade. In an essay on Substack, Wade said he “heard the jokes,” “saw the memes,” and “read the reactions.” He decided to update the head because “If people don’t feel that connection when they look at the face, why wouldn’t we try to make it better?” He added, “It may be my likeness, but it will always be our house.” What do you think of the new look? 👀

HU Staff: Ariela Anís @ari.anis A Minnesota Burger King employee is going viral after wearing blackface and admitting she “just wanted to be Black” for Halloween this year. As her face goes viral, social media users have flocked and flooded the review section on the restaurant’s Google page. ___________________________________________________ On Saturday (October 31), a Black woman from Minneapolis, Minnesota shared a video to Facebook. I just wanted to be Black.” ___________________________________________________ The Black woman asked, “Why would you want to be Black? Do you know the struggles we go through as Black people?” The employee started laughing and trying to contain it. She nervously said, “No..Yes I do. I mean, no. No, I don’t. No, I don’t.” The video then ends. In the comments of her post, the Black woman screenshot the location of the Burger King, located in Faribault, Minnesota. Sad mogu i to prekrižit s Bucket liste.
