“Isn’t everyone on the autistic spectrum?” Spoiler: no.

I hear this all the time, and it can feel incredibly invalidating. The spectrum isn’t a line from less autistic to more autistic. You might relate to some autistic traits, but that doesn’t mean everyone is on the spectrum.

I find it more helpful to talk about support levels. I’m level one, so I have lower support needs than someone who’s level three, who might need round-the-clock care, for example. That doesn’t make one of us more autistic than the other. My support needs may be lower, but autism still has a huge impact on my life.

Just as every neurotypical person is different, every neurodivergent person is too, and everyone’s experience is valid.

Save this for the next time you need to explain why we aren’t all on the spectrum ❤️

Handful of love for me only 😁😁❤️❤️🙈🙈

A daughter captured the unexpected moment her mother used a funeral speech to expose years of family drama instead of delivering a traditional tribute.

Speaking in front of mourners, the woman accused relatives of isolating her grandfather from loved ones for years and stealing his checks. After confronting them and warning that they would have to answer to God, she casually thanked everyone and told them to drive safely before walking away from the microphone.
