That was my CSD, Berlin 2026. Lovely and warm, colorful, and joyful - celebrating life with great music and my partner. Thank you @deutschepost_dhl for the opportunity to be on your truck. It was truly wonderful!🫶🏼

Unfortunately, the CSD was interrupted by an attack on us and our community. Luckily, we were already on our way home by then. After the initial shock and grief, I feel incredible anger! The tragic toll: one person dead and 29 injured. The attacker was found and killed by the police the next day. That brings me a sense of satisfaction! Our celebration of the year was tainted by that bastard. Islamism, just like right-wing extremism, is our greatest danger and enemy. As someone who isn’t very political, I have finally grasped this. They hate us simply because we exist—because of who we are and how we were born. Many of them hide behind their faith, claiming we are sinners in God’s eyes. But God created us just as He created everyone else. And we aren’t the ones who ostracize others or threaten them verbally and physically!
To all the gays and queers out there: don’t let yourselves be intimidated, and live your lives to the fullest! We are all colors of the rainbow. Happy Pride! 🏳️‍🌈💪🏼 #csdberlin2026🏳️‍🌈
