BREAKING: Voting machines across Westchester County, New York, are having trouble accepting paper ballots on Election Day, prompting officials to implement emergency procedures. The county's Board of Elections says affected ballots are being placed in secure, monitored emergency bags and will still be counted as officials work to resolve the issue. Republican Rep. Mike Lawler says the problem appears to involve ballot thickness and machine formatting, while the New York State Board of Elections says the issue stemmed from a "programming" mishap. New York Attorney General Letitia James says her office is monitoring the situation and reassured voters that their ballots will count.
