I’m always gonna have a love/hate relationship with these Facebook memories...

First, we’ve been friends since 1987, way before Facebook was even a thought in the Z-mans mind...second, while the number of years will keep going, we won’t be building new memories... your death this summer has me still working on a new normal...

My subconscious must have known today was coming...I had a dream in the wee hours of today that went something like this :

You called Holly Hart and me into your basement office in Eustis at Colby College...Holly just got back from her National Guard training weekend and you wanted to hear all about it...she was being trained on “civilian drone operation” and you were absolutely fascinated by that...you had a million questions : “What kind of drone? How far can they fly? How hard was it to learn? Do you have one with you we could go fly over Miller Library?”...(everyone that knows you is playing that conversation in their head but with your voice!!)...

So...congrats on our almost 40 years of friendship... I just wish there were more...but for now, I’m going to buy a drone...
