I’ve spent hours and hours on personal playlists for my MC’s. Until deep into the dark night, I was listening to different styles of music, sometimes far from my own. Trying to figure out their personalities. 😅

I just start acting out the scenes. That’s actually how I tend to get ideas for books at the start, acting out a scene from a book or movie differently and then just adding a whole new world and story around it 😅

tbh, with my imagination i’m able to put myself into scenarios and imagine myself acting out the whole thing, works well especially when i’m reading

I take a piece of our personality we both share and lean into it hardcore. It makes empathy in the things we don't have in common easier to achieve.

I keep a different journal for each of my mcs; I imagine one regular day, then journal about that day from the perspective of my 3 different MCS. they all reflect differently, notice different things, react emotionally to the same events.

I have conversations, arguments & even brawls with my characters in the bathroom mirror... I write my best dialogue jabbing my finger at the glass! 👍👍👍👍 😀😀😀😀

Honestly yes playlists. I will admit also it's the as im falling asleep I will occasionally pretend Im them who passed out/ are passing out. or something depending on my mood and character's situatuon.
