Friends, Family, I am at a loss and need your help. I have exhausted all my personal resources and thought processes on how to proceed with what I knew would be a difficult situation. It involves a request for a “release of lien form” so I can transfer the title from my recently deceased father to my name. The car was purchased in 2008 & the bank, Harris Bank Barrington N, of Sacramento, CA, now known as BMO, is the lien holder. They will only accept a request via FAX. They will only send the form via FAX. Either of which transaction could take 48-72 hours to receive or transmit. I cannot sit at my credit union or library awaiting said document.
SO, what I ask is this. Does anyone I know still have a land line and a printer that can fax or even a real fax machine that can assist me in the several back and forth needed to achieve my simple goal of eventually getting the release of lien letter that I can then bring to the SOS to finish the process of transferring the title into my name? Please and THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH IN ADVANCE. (Photo for reach and the algorithm)
