I can't tell you how many different people have expressed this, or how many events I've heard it at. It's not wrong, but I think it's missing something. I think when you really start looking at them, you'll agree with me: the cars are about the people. Each car on the stages is a reflection of everyone who works on it and drives and codrives in it, the car is a representation of who they are and some of what they've been through.
Rally is about the cars, and the cars are about the people.

Your triggers reveal where you’re not free. What someone says or does to upset you may expose an underlying belief you have about yourself. So today I'm going to tell you about seven common triggers and what they may reveal.

1. Criticism. You believe your worth depends on being good enough or competent.

2. Rejection. You believe you need other people’s acceptance to feel worthy.

3. Being ignored. You rely on external validation to feel like you’re enough.

4. Losing control. You believe you can’t feel safe or at peace unless life goes your way.

5. Someone crosses your boundaries. You may struggle to assert your needs and prioritize yourself.

6. Someone else’s success. You measure your worth by comparing yourself to others.

7. Someone disagrees with you. Your identity is attached to being right.

Here’s the thing: It’s not just what someone says or does. It’s what you make it mean about you.

If someone can destroy your peace simply by ignoring you or disagreeing with you, your peace is still dependent on their behavior.

And if someone else’s opinion determines how you feel about yourself, you’ve given them power over your inner world.

Your triggers reveal where you’ve handed your freedom to someone else.

And those are precisely the places where your work begins.

Because the more you recognize that your worth isn’t determined by what other people think, say, or do, the less power they have to disturb your peace.

That’s what freedom looks like.
