When Glen Hansard asked me to share a song or a poem I was scared and tipsy… Before I knew it I had a room full of people looking at me and Glen started improvising some chords. I’ll never forget him looking at me, at my soul, with a confidence that I’m safe and everything will be ok. That it didn’t matter how well art is expressed… the act of sharing it is more than enough.
