‘FOR YOUR ACCENT GAVE YOU AWAY’ — my new album will be released on 11/6/26.
The title is a biblical reference to Peter denying Christ…no matter how many times he denied it, they knew he was associated from his accent alone. And that’s where I’m at with it. I can try to deny all I want, but I know who I belong to.
This album encapsulates all of my loves and influences in one place and shows another side of my musicianship that we all haven’t seen.
To the incredible musicians who helped midwife this project… y’all got me in love with music again.
I give thanks that I’ve been blessed to make an album with some of my favourite musicians and artists. This is also the first release from our new jazz imprint, OSAT Masterworks via @osatintl.
The rest of the story will unfold as we get closer to the album.
