Edo-Osagie Gheromwon Destiny 🇮🇹

First year playing in @hoopqueensto , and I can honestly say I’m incredibly grateful for the experience and the opportunity.

I remember a few months back at IsoLegendz when @keesa.k asked me to play this season. At the time, I told her I didn’t think I was ready... turns out I was wrong. I’m so thankful I stepped out of my comfort zone and said yes.

Without a doubt, this HoopQueens season has played a huge role in preparing me for the upcoming 2026–27 basketball season. It challenged me, helped me grow, and gave me confidence heading into what’s next.

A special thank you to my GM, Audrey, for believing in me from day one and trusting me with the opportunity. Thank you to my coaches for giving me a chance, and to my teammates.

A huge shoutout to Keesa for the incredible work you’re doing. I honestly don’t know how you do it—I know I couldn’t! God truly chose the right person for this mission, and I thank HIM for you. Thank you for creating opportunities for so many athletes, for investing in women’s basketball, and for helping continue to grow the game across Canada.

To everyone behind the scenes who has contributed to HoopQueens, thank you for your dedication and hard work.

Most importantly, all glory belongs to the King of Kings, Jesus Christ. Every good and perfect gift comes from above, and I’m thankful for every opportunity, every lesson, and every blessing.

Can’t wait for what next! 🙈
