My god. I met Nikki a few years ago at IU Kokomo and had the opportunity to photograph her. A phenomenal woman. I’m suddenly feeling the weight of greatness that I regret I didn’t truly understand when I met her.

One year ago today, we rescued the most enchanting little elephant. Wangalla was found amongst a herd of zebras, days old and desperately searching for family. She is but one of the many tiny elephants saved by ‘Misheck’s magic,’ the care of one of our most gifted Keepers.
