Hi, Lou.
I’ve been meaning to say this ever since my last day at the office.
We’ve been through the highs and the lows together, doing meaningful work for children across Indonesia while somehow managing to have the time of our lives. We became Debbie Ocean and Lou Miller whenever the situation called for it. Usually with a little too much confidence.
Thank you for all the dark and wonderfully inappropriate jokes. Thank you for always taking the worst possible photos of me every time I ask you to take a picture for my Instagram. And thank you for meticulously arranging every travel detail… just so I’d have something to complain about.
Some people become colleagues. A few become lifelong friends. I’m grateful you’re one of them.
Stay foolish. Stay lavish. Never lose your wit, your generosity, or your unapologetic self.
Cheers, my friend. 🥂

The photos were taken at the International Association of Business Communicators
@iabcindonesia Annual Conference last year, November 14, 2025.
It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and long-time supporters. I also had the pleasure of sharing the stage with Mas
@aji_m Head of the Ministry of Health’s Communication Bureau, and Mbak
@veramaki, the President of IABC Indonesia.
Thank you for having me, Mbak Vera. It was an insightful conversation, thoughtful exchange, and, as always, a lot of fun.
P.S. A funny moment from the day: thanks to the Jordanian King’s security protocol, I somehow ended up with a parking spot right next to their motorcade. Definitely not something that happens every day. 🙌
