Leon S. Kennedy is one of the most iconic protagonists in the Resident Evil series. He first appears as a rookie police officer on his first day in Raccoon City, only to find himself trapped in the middle of a catastrophic viral outbreak. Despite his inexperience, Leon shows remarkable courage, quick thinking, and determination as he fights to survive and protect others, including Sherry Birkin.
After escaping the destruction of Raccoon City, Leon is recruited by the U.S. government and trained to become a highly skilled special agent. Over the years, he takes on dangerous missions involving bioterrorism across the globe, most notably rescuing the president’s daughter in Resident Evil 4. Known for his calm personality, sharp combat skills, and ability to stay composed under extreme pressure, Leon balances professionalism with a human side that still carries the weight of his past.
Driven by a strong sense of justice, Leon continues to stand against the horrors of bioweapons, risking his life to protect innocent people. His journey from a naive rookie to a hardened yet compassionate agent is what makes him one of the most beloved characters in the franchise.
