We are incredibly honored to announce that I have secured the exclusive life rights to tell the story of Buddy McGirt—Long Island’s first world boxing champion, International Boxing Hall of Fame, and one of the most respected trainers the sport has ever known.
This is more than a boxing documentary.
SURVIVAL: The Buddy McGirt Story is a documentary film about perseverance, sacrifice, family, discipline, and the relentless pursuit of greatness. It’s about a kid who fought his way out of adversity, reached the pinnacle of boxing, and dedicated his life to helping others become champions inside and outside the ring.
Being entrusted with Buddy’s story is a responsibility that I don’t take lightly, and I’m committed to creating a film that honors both the man and the legacy he continues to build.
As we move into the next phase of development, we’re seeking strategic partners, executive producers, financing partners, brands, and organizations who believe in powerful stories that inspire audiences around the world.
