PRIVATE MATTERS I’m interested in the beautiful contradictions of domestic life. The rare and the everyday, the sculptural and the comfortable, the things we collect and the things we actually live with. In the den of this private Toronto residence, Ricardo Fasanello’s Kudasay lounge armchair sits alongside a 1980s postmodern Italian floor lamp in opaline glass, Kelly Wearstler marble coffee table and a clover side table by Kieran Kinsella. Mario Bellini’s 1971 lounge chairs for Cassina gather around the Morro coffee table from my collection, with a sculptural side table by Bari Ziperstein nearby. Against the fluted wall, a rare Aghia lamp by Roberto Pamio for Leucos and an abstract work by Charles Salas-Humara bring another layer of character to the space. XK

HU Staff: Kecia Gayle @kecia.kae #Socialites, please let’s take a moment to send love, prayers and our deepest condolences to the Johnson family as they have just lost their husband, father, and the heart of their home. ___________________________________________________ Marcel Johnson, the Michigan dad who let hundreds of thousands of strangers ride along through his tough stage 4 cancer fight, died on November 2, 2026, at about 4:45 p.m. He was 32. ___________________________________________________ His super strong wife Tay announced the news in an emotional TikTok video, explaining he had moved into palliative and hospice care and was surrounded by his family at the end. She also wrote, “I lost a whole entire half of me. He fought so hard for so long. He was so tired & exhausted & in so much pain. Yesterday the only words Marcel said all day were to me & Dedric and it was ‘I’m ready to go’ and that was in the morning. He still fought to hang on all day so we just got a bit more time. I truly don’t even have words right now. I feel like this can’t be real life. How can this be real f—-g life. I thought I was going to wake up and he was still going to be here beside me. I love him with my whole entire being and life will absolutely never ever be the same.” Supporters were heartbroken by the news but also sent her love and positive words for sticking by his side through every step of the way. ___________________________________________________ Click the link in bio for full story 📸 TikTok
