I didn’t want a new face. I wanted to look like ME again. ❤️

And if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that you can love yourself exactly as you are and still want to make a change. Those two things can exist at the same time.

I’m a mom of four, a wife, a business owner, and a woman who has spent years taking care of everyone else. Somewhere between raising babies, building a business, and the beautiful chaos of life, I started noticing changes in the mirror.

And one day, I decided to do something about them.

But here’s what I REALLY want you to take away from my journey…

DO YOUR RESEARCH. AND THEN DO SOME MORE.

I spent YEARS researching surgeons before choosing @drirasavetsky . I didn’t want to look different. I wanted my expressions, my personality, my face. Just refreshed. And his work was exactly what I was looking for.

I also learned that recovery isn’t a race. Healing takes patience, consistency, and listening to your doctor. Even when you’re a native New Yorker who thinks walking around Manhattan in a headscarf counts as resting. 😂🗽

Three months later, I would do it all over again.

But the biggest lesson wasn’t about my face.

It was about giving myself PERMISSION.

Permission to invest in myself. To make a decision that was mine. To stop feeling like I needed to explain my choices.

Here’s what I hope every woman remembers:

You don’t have to be unhappy with yourself to do something for yourself.

Whether it’s booking that trip, starting a business, prioritizing your health, or finally doing something you’ve dreamed about for years…

Choosing yourself doesn’t mean you’re choosing anyone else less. ❤️

Do your homework. Make informed decisions. And never let someone else’s opinion become louder than your own voice.

This was my personal experience, and everyone’s healing journey is different.
