Kings peak: 42 miles, 2.5 days, solo.
I definitely underestimated Kings Peak. It was a struggle not going to lie. There were moments when I questioned if I’d make it, but I just kept putting one foot in front of the other. Step by step, mile by mile, I eventually made it to the top.
That lesson goes far beyond hiking. Whether it’s writing, education, building a business, chasing a dream, or simply taking care of your own well being, progress isn’t always fast or easy. Some days you’ll feel like you’re barely moving, but every step still counts. If you keep putting one foot in front of the other, you’ll turn out alright..I promise!!
Standing on that mountain reminded me that the hardest climbs often lead to the most rewarding views. God has truly painted this world into an incredible canvas for us to explore, and moments like this leave me humbled, grateful, and beyond thankful for the opportunity to experience His creation.
