Join us in a water prayer circle to honor and protect our most sacred resource of life.
Open to all who wish to gather in solidarity to transmute their righteous love and rage via song, writings, collective prayer and meditation.

Water is life and all waters are sacred.
The ongoing violences and lack of repair towards our waters are deeply felt locally and globally. Whether it be the recent sewage leak into the Hudson River, the proposed Constitution Pipeline of fracked gas cutting thru New York to Pennsylvania, the onslaught of AI pollution centers, or bombs decimating the lands, the care of water is being pushed aside for greed and profit.

August 8th is also Global Women’s Water Prayer Day, where we will be aligned with folks and events worldwide praying for clean accessible water, healthy communities, and a liveable climate. There is no future without clean water.

A small altar will be set up if you wish to bring flowers or other water safe offerings. Please wear white if possible, and feel free to bring any instruments you feel called to make sound with. After closing the circle there will be a potluck picnic if you wish to bring something to share.
