Huron Stories: Kincardine. On a perfect summer day we headed up from Goderich to Kincardine where decades ago my family rented cottages at Boiler Beach. Kincardine remains a lovely town, vibrant historic Main Street, a great Monday market and lovely sandy beaches right in town. The beach boardwalk is a delight with native dune plantings along the way. Great veggie shop on the main drag with corn and peas for dinner tonight back at the ranch where Franco and Birnam are happy on the wooden terrace.
