We are delighted to share that ‘Catching the Weeping Moon’ by Alice Kettle has found its permanent home in the Holburne Museum, Bath.
One of the South West’s most significant museums, the Holburne has built an outstanding collection spanning centuries of art and craft. We are thrilled that ‘Catching the Weeping Moon’ will now become part of this public collection, where it can be experienced by visitors for generations to come.
It has been a privilege to facilitate the placement of this extraordinary work. Alice Kettle’s practice continues to redefine the possibilities of textile as a contemporary art form, weaving together exceptional technical skill with powerful narratives and emotional resonance.
Our sincere thanks go to the Holburne Museum, The Hitchin Family and Hallett Independent for recognising the significance of Alice’s work and making this acquisition possible. Many congratulations Alice.
