Would you believe me if I told you I was dreading graduation day? Two weeks before graduation, I couldn’t stop thinking about how everyone was ahead of me and how I’d never be good enough. I tried to stay positive, but I was disappointed in myself for letting those thoughts take over.
But the night before graduation, I had a little pep talk with myself LMAO, and that anxious voice just disappeared. Graduation day came, and all I felt was excitement. Seeing friends I hadn’t seen in so long, reminiscing about group assignments, deadlines back to back, and winging presentations together made me realize how grateful I am for everyone I’ve met.
And then there was my family. Seeing my parents watch their daughter graduate cross the stage made the day even more special. I don’t think I’ll ever forget the look on their faces or how much their support has meant to me. Thank you abah and mama for your endless support.
It has been an amazing journey at Taylor’s, and I couldn’t have asked for better people to share this chapter with. Thank you to everyone who made these years so unforgettable.
