Yesterday we officially opened the doors to Chaka’s Plantbaed Café in Serenbe, Georgia, and my heart is full. My sister Tammy and I fell in love with Chef Anne Onyeneho’s food as customers first, so being able to bring this next chapter of Plantbaed to Serenbe feels very personal. The café is built around whole-food, plant-based cooking made without seed oils, GMOs or soy, and yes, there is a Chaka Bowl on the menu, with black beans, walnut meat, cilantro-lime wild rice, pumpkin-seed jalapeño pesto, pico de gallo and a little “Through the Fire” house sauce. You’ll also find favorites like walnut meat street tacos and the soursop colada. But this is about more than good food. Through our partnership with the @Thechakakhanfoundation, the café is also about community, inclusion and creating opportunity. As part of yesterday’s opening celebration, we unveiled a new playground communication board at Terra School to help non-speaking children communicate, connect and play. The café also plans to create employment opportunities for neurodivergent adults and support Foundation programming. Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us. Come hungry, come curious, and come see what we’ve been cooking up. 14-Year-Old Found In Basement Of Building Linked To Ukraine’s Azov Corps As Budanov Personally Arrives At Scene 🇺🇦🚨 A disturbing new development has emerged from the detention controversy near Kyiv, after footage circulated showing a 14-year-old boy being escorted out of a building described by Ukrainian online reports as an unofficial underground prison linked to the 1st Azov Corps. According to Ukrainian outlet Strana, the Azov Corps' own statement acknowledged that four servicemen had been detained at the facility for disciplinary violations. The Corps said the men had sustained injuries and were taken to hospital for medical examinations. It also stated that if illegal violence at the site is established, those responsible will face punishment. But the most striking development was the arrival of Kyrylo Budanov, head of President Zelensky’s Office, who personally visited the property to establish what had happened. Budanov reportedly spoke directly with the teenager found in the basement. The boy told him he was 14 years old. After speaking with those involved, Budanov told the crowd to leave, stating that there were no more hostages inside the building. This follows the November 2 confrontation in Petropavlivska Borshchahivka, near Kyiv, when an angry crowd attempted to break through the gates after allegations emerged that people were being held inside and denied medical assistance. Footage from that incident showed injured men being taken out by ambulance. The National Guard commander later confirmed that four servicemen had been hospitalized and promised an investigation into allegations of mistreatment. Now, the reported discovery of a 14-year-old in the basement has brought even greater attention to the facility and the circumstances surrounding those held there. A teenager found in the basement. Four injured servicemen. Budanov personally arriving at the scene. And serious questions about what happened inside.
