A California startup is developing a 7-foot chainsaw-wielding centaur robot designed to enter places too dangerous for humans. 🤖🪚 Called Threehalves, the robot is being developed by Satyress Robotics in Auburn, California. It combines a humanoid upper body with four legs for stability on rough terrain. The goal is to help workers operate safely in hazardous environments, including wildfire zones, collapsed buildings, and dangerous forestry sites. A human operator would control the robot using joystick-style controls. Its modular arms are designed to accept interchangeable tools such as chainsaws, drills, and screwdrivers, allowing skilled workers to perform dangerous jobs from a safer location. Even its unusual appearance serves a purpose. Cameras inside its horns are intended to help operators track its limbs and tools, while mechanical failsafes are designed to lock its joints if the robot loses air pressure or motor control. The project is still in the prototype stage, with no confirmed commercial release date. Its creator, Beau Gaston, says the goal is to protect workers from dangerous conditions rather than replace them. Be honest, if this thing walked out of the smoke to rescue you, would you feel relieved or terrified? 💀 Follow @longliveai for more AI, robotics, and future technology updates. Warning ‼️ This is not a health food 😜 This Hawaiian Mac Salad is as good and authentic as it gets. The best I’ve had for sure!! What makes this Mac salad different from the others out there is 2 simple ingredients Apple cider vinegar and Shredded onion!! This is what you need. 1 lb macaroni 2 TBS apple cider vinegar 2 carrots shredded 1/4 cup shredded onion 2 1/2 cups mayonnaise (Best Food or Hellman’s) 1/4 cup milk 2 tsp sugar Salt n Pepper to taste Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain and rinse in cold water. Cool completely. Sprinkle with apple cider vinegar. Add carrots and onion. Toss together well and refrigerate for 15 minutes. In a separate small bowl mix mayo, milk and sugar together. Fold the mayo mixture into macaroni until all the noodles are evenly coated. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, overnight is best. Believe me it gets better!!! #macaroni #macaronisalad #hawaiianfood #platelunch #mayonaise
ad If heaven was a place on Earth 🤍🩵 A weekend in Lake Garda in early November, without the peak crowds of summer, the air still feels warm whilst having a crisp to it, the mountains dusted with a thin layer of snow, it’s warm enough to eat outside and autumnal enough to sit by the fire inside each evening 🌙 I just stayed at @grandhotelfasano, originally built in the 1800s as a hunting lodge for the Austrian royal family, and now the most beautiful hotel on the lake 🦋 It’s home to a massive spa inspired by ancient Roman baths, as well as offering the best Michelin dining experience at Il Fagiano. Can you see why I didn’t want to leave? 📍 @grandhotelfasano @leadinghotelsoftheworld #grandhotelfasano #virtuosotravel #lhwtraveler #lakegarda #teritoria
