“There and back again”
Brady and I took advantage of what looked like to be a not so good weather for a Cpl Trip ideas, he decided on cape scot as he wanted to get a big trail under his belt for his first time out on a long time
So we set off for the tip of Vancouver island for an amazing father son trip dressed for rain only to strip down 4K in as the weather switched in our favour.
Thank you Kirsten for all the trail info as it wasn’t one I looked hard at for a long time
We pumped out 17k in 3.45hrs to make it to nels night just in time for the tail end of a sunset
We set up camp quickly ate and were off to sleep
We woke up and headed for the lighthouse which was 5.5k away making it there and meeting the lighthouse keeper who has been there for 27 years!
He offered us fresh water which was a treat and we headed back to camp had a quick lunch and headed out.
