Thomas Haferlach

Arrived in Copenhagen to attend Tyler Cowen / Emergent Ventures' "Unconference".

Already ticked a few things from my bucket list:

- First time in Denmark
- First time flying business class
- First time in a capsule hotel
- First unconference

"An unconference is a participant-driven meeting that replaces preset schedules and keynote speeches with an agenda created on-site by attendees."

We received a grant from Emergent Ventures. The conference brings all the grantees together. Excited to meet everyone else.

Business casual was requested so I brought my suit from Uganda.

I'll probably be talking about AI a lot. Hopefully not exclusively.
